Teen from Fargo needs a heart transplant

Fargo, North Dakota – In order to support a Fargo adolescent who has been diagnosed with heart failure, the community is banding together in a big manner.
Reese Scufsa, 16, believed he had the flu when in fact he had an enlarged heart that was causing problems with his organs and a blood clot in his heart.
He is now awaiting a heart transplant at Minneapolis Children’s Hospital. To help with medical, travel, and housing costs, Lend A Hand Up has organized an online fundraiser that has already raised more than $20,000.
20% of donations made through Lend A Hand Up will be matched if you’d like to lend a hand. Donations of cash or checks can be delivered to Bell Bank at 2704 N Broadway in Fargo, ND 58102, and made payable to Denise Scufsa.
Along with his mother and three siblings, Reese resides in Fargo.
