SUV driver strikes a traffic signal pole in front of Fargo police headquarters; charges are pending

Fargo, North Dakota – Just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Fargo police responded to a single-vehicle crash and didn’t have to travel very far.
At the intersection of 25th Street North and 1st Avenue North, directly in front of the police station, the little SUV crashed into a traffic signal pole.
According to police, the SUV’s sole occupant lost control of the vehicle and collided with a pole, severely damaging it. There were no reported injuries.
Drug-related crimes and other driving infractions are being looked into in relation to the collision.
