Scholarship offers to Kentucky quarterback and Century’s Schweigert

Fargo, North Dakota – Many scholarships were offered to prospective players by North Dakota State University after the three day football camp.
North Dakota State University offered at least five scholarships including to Caden Veltkamp, a Bowling Green Kentucky quarterback. Veltkamp also received FBS offers from: Kentucky, Miami of Ohio, Appalachian State, Akron, Western Kentucky and Indiana State.
Lucas Schweigert was also offered by the Bison. In the 2020 season Schweigert recorded 30 tackles and three sacks.
Last week the Bison received two commitments for the Class of 2022. Linebacker Austin Altepeter of Moorhead and quarterback Nate Staehling of Brainers.
