Car catches on fire at a Polk County travel center

On Sunday evening at a travel center in Polk County around 5 p.m. a vehicle caught on fire.
The Polk County Sheriff Office received a call of a 2010 Dodge Challenger burning at the Win E Mac Travel Center located at 22848 347th Street SE in Erskine.
The 20-years-old Nicholas Blais is the driver of the vehicle who notified the Polk County Sheriff Office after noticing the trunk of the vehicle was on fire.
At the time the vehicle caught on fire, troopers were at the travel center. They assisted Blais in extinguishing the fire.
It appears that the fire was due to a mechanical issue.
