Saint Michael man faces charges after accident that left 3 dead, 1 injured

Bismarck, North Dakota – Three counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury have been filed against a Saint Michael man in connection to a car accident on August 11th.
Winter Bigtrack, 18, was driving when he drifted from the road on the Spirit Lake Reservation, causing the car to roll, according to prosecutors.
Two children were among the three passengers killed in the incident. According to reports, a third child was seriously injured.
An investigation into the incident determined that Bigtrack, who had no license, had been speeding prior to the crash and was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.
