Man arrested after eluding police and pointing a gun at a civilian

Fargo, North Dakota – After eluding police on Wednesday afternoon and pointing a gun at a bystander who tried to assist cops in catching him, a Fargo man was taken into custody.
Kadar Pearson, 19, was allegedly a suspect in stealing ammunition last month, and he was spotted by police on Wednesday at about 3:15 p.m., according to Fargo Police.
Pearson fled from police when they approached him in the 700 block of 23rd Street S. Additional police were brought in to assist, including a K-9 team, in locating him.
Officers observed Pearson during a foot pursuit waving a gun at a bystander who attempted to assist the officers. Pearson eventually disposed of the weapon and ammunition.
Eventually, Pearson was apprehended and charged with terrorism, drug possession with intent to sell while in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and felony ammunition theft.
According to police, K-9 Toby discovered the weapon and ammunition.
