In Bismarck, the golf season concluded last week

Bismarck, North Dakota – The three golf courses owned by Bismarck Parks and Recreation concluded their outdoor golf season last week.
Workers in operations are currently misting chemicals to prevent snow mold from growing on the greens. While they blow out irrigation systems, it takes a few days.
Despite a shorter season, rounds were higher every day this year.
Because of the extremely late winter this year, our season was a little shorter.
“We had a little shorter season this year because of the late, late winter. We had all of that snow covering everything, so May 2 and 3 is when we were starting, which we normally start about three weeks before that. And then we are closing about seven days early this year,” said Tim Doppler, operations manager.
Doppler reports that they are currently preparing for cross-country skiing.
