Nearly the whole Sanford Medical Center is evacuated due to a fire

Fargo, North Dakota – Yesterday morning, there was a little fire at the Sanford Broadway Medical Center.
Before 6:15 a.m., fire crews were dispatched to the hospital in response to a fire report.
They discovered and put out a minor fire in an ultrasound machine. Because of the smoke and fire, staff and patients almost left the facility; however, once the fire was contained, the evacuation preparations were abandoned.
A spokeswoman for the authorities stated that no one was injured and that patient care was not impeded.
The investigation into the fire’s cause is still ongoing.
