Graduation ceremony will be held for graduates of the Fargo Police Academy

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Police Department will have a graduation celebration to honor the accomplishments of almost two dozen graduates of the most recent class of the Fargo Police Academy.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will take place in the City Commission Chambers, located inside Fargo City Hall. An oath-taking ceremony will take place for the fifteen graduates who are joining the Fargo Police Department immediately after the graduation ceremony concludes. After the two ceremonies, the new police officers will go straight to the patrol division to start training.
All of the recruits went through the Fargo Police Academy, which is a training program that lasts for a total of twelve weeks and is fully certified by the North Dakota Peace Officer Standards of Training Program.
