Two separate shooting incidents in Fargo over the weekend remain under investigation

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Police Department is investigating two separate gunshot incidents that took place over the weekend.

The first incident took place in the 3300 block of 35th Avenue South in the early morning hours of Saturday, shortly after 12 o’clock. According to authorities, officers were sent in response to a report of a person shot. After arriving at the scene, officers determined the victim had already been transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. The victim was treated for injuries sustained in the arm that were not considered life-threatening.

The second incident took place at 2:24 a.m. on Saturday in the 10 block of Broadway North in the downtown area of Fargo. The man reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the buttocks, according to the Fargo Police Department. According to witnesses, the possible shooter in this incident was a Black male between the ages of 25 and 30, and he fled the scene in a red vehicle.

The investigations into both incidents are still ongoing, and there have been no arrests made yet. Also, there is no evidence to suggest that these incidents are connected.
