Two separate shooting incidents in Fargo over the weekend remain under investigation

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Police Department is investigating two separate gunshot incidents that took place over the weekend.

The first incident took place in the 3300 block of 35^th Avenue South in the early morning hours of Saturday, shortly after 12 o’clock. According to authorities, officers were sent in response to a report of a person shot. After arriving at the scene, officers determined the victim had already been transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. The victim was treated for injuries sustained in the arm that were not considered life-threatening.

The second incident took place at 2:24 a.m. on Saturday in the 10 block of Broadway North in the downtown area of Fargo. The man reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the buttocks, according to the Fargo Police Department. According to witnesses, the possible shooter in this incident was a Black male between the ages of 25 and 30, and he fled the scene in a red vehicle.

The investigations into both incidents are still ongoing, and there have been no arrests made yet. Also, there is no evidence to suggest that these incidents are connected.
