Flu vaccines are available through Custer Health by appointment

Mandan, North Dakota – Flu shots are available by appointment at Custer Health in Mandan as flu season approaches.

The event began at 12:30 and lasted till 4:00.

With so many respiratory viruses circulating this season, authorities advise people to stay up to date on their vaccines, especially if they are immunocompromised.

“We are moving into a season where there are more illnesses going around. some people may, unfortunately, get more than one illness at a time,” said Becky Bailey, immunization initiative coordinator. “Something we can all do to protect ourselves is to practice good handwashing and staying home if you are sick. Doing those things will help stop the spread into our communities.”
