By paying their real estate taxes by February 15th, Cass County homeowners can still receive a 5% discount

Fargo, North Dakota – According to a Cass County spokesperson, the 5% discount on real estate taxes for 2022 is valid through February 15th 2023.
Online, in person at the Finance Office, by check mailed, or dropped off in the secure drop box in front of the courthouse at 211 9th Street South in Fargo are all acceptable ways to pay taxes.
The drop box is checked numerous times per day, according to Caitlin Solum, the county’s public information officer. Residents are urged to include a note on the check stating they want a receipt for their payment and to put the check and payment stub in an envelope.
For online payment options, visit www.casscountynd.gov/pay. There is an extra “convenience fee” for credit card payments. To ensure efficiency and cut down on wait times, residents who plan to make payments in person at the Finance Office are encouraged to bring statements and/or parcel numbers. Residents may be requested to return with the necessary paperwork if they don’t have their statements or parcel numbers.
Call the County Finance Office at (241) 5600 or send an email to taxes@casscountynd.gov if you haven’t received your tax statement, county residents.
