Artists create gnomes to commemorate the arrival of spring

Bismarck, North Dakota – A few painters picked up some paintbrushes to mark the arrival of spring.
In Bismarck, Art from the Heart offered a session for adults on painting gnomes.
These artists started with a blank canvas and created a spring gnome swinging beneath a tree. Participants in the class agree that it’s the ideal way to unwind while also being creative.
“So, we have the creativity to do whatever colors we want and Nina is just a great instructor that shows us what we can do and how to do them but allows us to put our own spin on it,” said Cari Thompson, who attended the class.
Children as young as 10 months old and as old as 102 years old can take art workshops at Art from the Heart.
