BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Sunday, March 21. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.
Statewide case rates
- NEW CASES: 49 (seven-day daily average: 98)
- TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 726
- TOTAL CASES: 101,651
- TOTAL RECOVERED: 99,464
- DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 6.12%
Average number of daily tests is 3,560, but only 801 tests were conducted Sunday.
Hospitalizations, deaths
- ACTIVE HOSPITALIZATIONS: 18
- TOTAL HOSPITALIZATIONS: 3,908
- DEATHS, NEWLY REPORTED:
- TOTAL DEATHS: 1,461
Vaccinations
- FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 194,903 and 27% of population
