Watford City kid, age 6, dies in pedestrian accident

Watford City, North Dakota – A 19-year-old driver struck and killed a 6-year-old child from Watford City on his bicycle when he was riding in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Saturday night.
The 6-year-old was riding his bike in the area when the 19-year-old Watford City man struck him, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 1200 block of Main Street in Watford City.
At the scene, the youngster was pronounced dead.
Despite the fact that the 19-year-old was unharmed, charges are still pending.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is looking into the crash.
