Two hurt in head-on collision close to Mapleton

Mapleton, North Dakota – A head-on collision that occurred in Cass County Tuesday afternoon left two persons injured.
Four miles east of Mapleton, on County Road 10, it took place in a work zone.
According to the State Patrol, a car being driven by Annika Greany-Stanger, 28, of West Fargo, and being driven by William Callihan, 42, of Browning, Illinois, crossed the center line and struck the other vehicle.
With no imminent danger to their lives, both were transferred to the hospital.
Police are currently looking into the collision. Callihan is facing allegations.
At the time of the collision, construction workers were engaged in a drilling project for the Red River Diversion in the ditch. They were all unharmed.
