The Citizen Academy in Bismarck grows

Bismarck, North Dakota – The Citizen Academy in Bismarck is growing.
The academy’s 14 departments will be visited behind the scenes to show citizens how the city government operates.
In 2022, 12 locals received practical training in topics including preserving open spaces, operating roads, responding to fires, and water management that are frequently disregarded.
The academy is accepting 20 applicants this year due to the first-success classes the previous year.
Applications are being accepted by the city through November 30.
