The annual lighting ceremony for the State Christmas Tree in North Dakota will take place on December 1st

Bismarck, North Dakota – The ceremony to light the Christmas tree in front of the North Dakota State Capitol will be hosted by Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Burgum.
The event will take place in Memorial Hall on Thursday, December 1 at 5:30 p.m., as the ceremony.
This year’s Christmas tree will have the theme “Inspiring Hope,” which comes from the First Lady’s initiative to provide people who are recovering from addiction new reasons to have hope.
The message is also being applied to the concept that throughout the holiday season, each person has the ability to instill optimism in other people.
