Suspect in custody in Sunday morning Minot homicide

Minot, North Dakota – A suspect in a shooting that resulted in a fatality was apprehended by the Minot Police Department early on Sunday.
Travis McDermott, age 40 and a resident of Minot, is currently being detained on suspicion of manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and extreme indifference while armed with a weapon.
The victim is a male who is 32 years old.
His name has not been made public at this time.
The shooting reportedly took place at the Original Bar and Night Club at approximately 1:45 in the morning.
