Sites for yard waste in Bismarck are closed for the year

Bismarck, North Dakota — All municipal yard garbage pickup facilities will be closed as of Monday, November 7, according to a statement from Bismarck’s Public Works department.
There are still options to get rid of any waste you might need to be taken away, even though yard waste might not be disposed of at these locations any more.
You can either take your yard waste to the city landfill or bag it up and put it out for pickup.
Bags left out for collection cannot weigh more than 50 pounds. The city wants to warn people not to leave bags or dump yard debris at areas that have been closed to yard waste.
The yard trash dumps in Bismarck will reopen in the spring.
