Retailers in North Dakota anticipate a successful holiday season

Bismarck, North Dakota – Retailers in North Dakota are anticipating a prosperous holiday shopping season.
The upbeat forecast comes as consumers rushed to stores across the state to take advantage of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday bargains over the past weekend.
The National Retail Federation forecasts that holiday shopping will result in an increase of between six and eight percent in total sales compared to the previous year.
That is more than the average growth over the past ten years, which has been slightly under five percent per year.
