Police in Lebanon are looking into several weekend car break-ins

Lebanon, Indiana – The Lebanon Police Department is conducting an investigation into several reported car break-ins that occurred over the weekend.
The information provided by the Lebanon Police Department suggests that the break-ins took place early on Saturday morning. Three people who were thought to be involved were recorded on camera by residential surveillance systems.
An investigator with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office was driving one of the vehicles, which was an unmarked unit assigned to the agency. The sheriff’s office has reported that the robbers took a gun from the vehicle that they broke into.
The Lebanon Police Department, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are all working together on the investigation into the burglaries.
