Over 1,400 NYC workers fired for refusing to get vaccinated
Over 1,400 people are out of work in New York City.
After refusing to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, they were formally dismissed from their jobs.
Almost all of them had been on unpaid leave for more than three months, and the majority of them worked for the Department of Education.
Another 9,000 employees continue to oppose the mandatory vaccinations.
