Older, rural adults in North Dakota connected to resources through a grant-funded program

Bismarck, North Dakota – A program that is sponsored by grants is assisting older persons in rural towns in North Dakota in obtaining the resources they require.
For elderly people living in rural areas, the Aging in the Community program provides assistance with addressing challenges related to food security, medical needs, and other concerns.
The officials believe that it is especially crucial to connect them with resources during the winter months.
The program also assists older persons in making connections with their immediate community and in discovering new opportunities to engage in social activities.
