Due to the winter weather, local school systems close and switch to online classes

Fargo, North Dakota – Due to the return of winter weather in the FM Metro, school districts in the Red River Valley will be closed and subject to delays.
Due to bad weather, all Boys and Girls Club locations in the area, NDSU, and Fargo Public Schools are closed today.
This school day won’t need to be made up because all academic levels in Fargo Schools have longer school days than necessary. Only key workers are needed to report to the college on Wednesday, according to NDSU.
Students from Moorhead and West Fargo will also be allowed to stay at home, but they must complete an e-learning day.
Additionally, all before- and after-school activities are canceled for Moorhead and West Fargo schools.
Classes at Concordia College are also been postponed until 10 a.m.
