North Dakota Vision Zero has something to say about November Seatbelt Citations

Bismarck, North Dakota – Advocates of Vision Zero are raising their voices in response to the seatbelt citations that were handed out in November in North Dakota.
According to the data, there were just over 650 seatbelt infractions issued across the state in the month of November.
There were over 30 violations for improper use of child restraints, and tickets were issued.
According to Vision Zero, 65 percent of those who died in car accidents in the state of North Dakota in 2022 were not wearing seatbelts.
The goal of the Vision Zero initiative in the state is to completely do away with deaths caused by traffic accidents.
