North Dakota ranks third-worst for singles

Fargo, North Dakota – Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, but it seems like North Dakotans have a hard time finding love.
The Peace Garden State is ranked third-worst for singles by WalletHub.
In its investigation, the Personal Finance website included 30 important variables, including the proportion of adult singles, the availability of online dating, and the number of restaurants per capita.
North Dakota performed well in a number of the subsets, including:
• 39th – % of Single Adults
• 50th – Gender Balance of Singles
• 40th – Online-Dating Opportunities
• 45th – Mobile-Dating Opportunities
• 31st – Median Annual Household Income (Adjusted for Cost of Living)
• 49th – Restaurants per Capita
• 33rd – Movie Theaters per Capita
• 26th – Crime Rate
• 38th – Percentage of Residents 12+ Who Are Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19
The best state for singles? California. The worst? West Virginia.
