New executive director named by the ND GOP
Bismarck, North Dakota – The executive director of the North Dakota Republican Party is now Andrew Nyhus.
Born and raised in North Dakota, Nyhus has experience in government policy from his time working for North Dakota Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Crammer in Washington, D.C. He works for Americans for Prosperity as the director of grassroots engagement as well.
The North Dakota GOP says in a statement that Nyhus will guide the party through key dates in the next election cycle. This covers statewide elections in April, the State GOP Convention in April, and the Presidential Caucus in March.
Nyhus has prior expertise in community organizing, company ownership, lobbying, and political involvement. 2011 saw him graduate from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree.
Following David Roetman’s resignation in October, Nyhus takes over in the job. Nyhus began working there yesterday.
