Minot, North Dakota – Dr. Scott Faul has been extended an offer to become the superintendent by the Minot Public School Board.

During the school board meeting, Faul received the votes of all four board members.

The other contenders, according to School Board President Mike Gessner, were outstanding choices, but Faul was finally selected due to his anticipatory awareness of impending adjustments and changes in Minot’s educational system.

“As we move forward into our new high school, as we move forward into our third middle school, he’s already in the process of deciding where we’re going to go, how we’re going to do,” said Gessner.

He claimed that Faul showed that he knew what to do in a variety of circumstances.

If he accepts the job, his first day as superintendent will be July 1, 2024.
