Man hospitalized after being ran over by bus

Fargo, North Dakota – After being ran over by a bus in Downtown Fargo on Wednesday evening, a man is expected to recover.

The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. near the junction of 4th Avenue North and Broadway, according to the Fargo Fire Department.

The 55-year-old man was at the intersection when a MATBUS rolled over his foot, causing a crush injury, according to Fire Captain Keith Johnson. Pedestrians on the street took care of the man until EMS and police arrived. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
