Man from Casselton was hurt in a rollover collision on Christmas Eve
Tappen, North Dakota – After a rollover collision early on Christmas Eve, a guy from Casselton, North Dakota, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said that Casselton resident Donald Bitzan, 33, lost control of his car on icy/slush-covered I-94 while driving west.
Bitzan moved over the center of the road and into the eastbound lanes. In the eastbound lanes, the car repeatedly rolled.
The car came to rest on its roof, obstructing the I-94 eastbound lanes’ right lane.
Bitzan was flown by Sanford AirMed to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck after being taken to Steele by Kidder County Ambulance for severe non-life-threatening injuries.
The remaining passengers, who included a 32-year-old woman, a 9-year-old girl, a 3-year-old girl, a 1-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old boy, were safely confined and unharmed.
