Man arrested for making false report about a shooting

Fargo, North Dakota – A man in his 25th year from Fargo was taken into custody after calling 911 and making a false report about a shooting.
At around five in the morning on Monday, the Fargo Police Department received a call that a woman had been shot in the 1100 block of 16th Street North.
There was no evidence of any crime when they searched the area, but they were able to locate the caller.
Kwame Twum was arrested on charges of making a false report to law enforcement and harassment. It was said that Twum admitted to police that he made the call.
In addition, there were five warrants out for Twum’s arrest for various violations, including driving and noise.
