Katrina Christiansen declares her candidacy for the U.S. Senate position in North Dakota

Jamestown, North Dakota – In 2024, Democrat Katrina Christiansen formally declared her intention to run for the U.S. Senate seat from North Dakota.
Engineer Christiansen of Jamestown, who teaches at the University of Jamestown, will face off against Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer in his reelection bid in 2019.
“People are tired of the chaos and lack of results coming from Washington,” Christiansen stated in her announcement. She described herself as an engineer who solves problems without regard to party politics.
In 2022, Christiansen attempted to run for the U.S. Senate but was defeated by Republican incumbent John Hoeven.
