Head-on collision in Bismarck leaves four people critically hurt

Bismarck, North Dakota – On Centennial Road in Bismarck early on Wednesday morning, about 8:19 a.m., two cars crashed head-on, causing one of the cars to catch fire. Three men and a seven-year-old were critically hurt.

The 2013 Ford Taurus, which was being driven by a 32-year-old Bismarck man and was carrying a 7-year-old boy as a passenger, abruptly swerved over the center line and collided head-on with a 2011 GMC Terrain, which was being driven by a 22-year-old Bismarck man and was carrying a 40-year-old Bismarck man as a passenger.

Due to the collision, the GMC caught fire, and onlookers helped the two occupants out. All four accident participants were taken to Sanford and CHI St. Alexius hospitals for treatment of their significant injuries.
