Following the tragic massacre in Maine, Senator Cramer called it “disgusting” that the Senate would consider gun legislation

Fargo. North Dakota – Following the horrific shooting in Maine, Senator Kevin Cramer says he is frustrated that gun control legislation has not yet been brought up for consideration by the Senate.
“It is disgusting and it’s understandable in a way because politics always responds to events. It’s predictable, it’s disgusting, particularly so close to the tragedy on one hand. On the other hand, it’s also when the issue I suppose they see it as the ripest,” said Cramer.
Cramer describes the shooting as “sickening” and offers his sympathies to the victims.
The senator claims that the shooting highlights the importance of giving mental health more attention.
