Following a Saturday night bomb threat at the Cass County Jail, all is clear

Fargo, North Dakota – A bomb threat has been made against the Cass County Jail.
According to the sheriff’s office, at about 9:30 on Saturday night, Red River Regional Dispatch Center received a tip concerning a bomb threat at the jail.
A security perimeter was instantly established, and the correctional facility went into lockdown.
A bomb dog from the Fargo Police Department and the Red River Regional Drone Team searched the jail, but they found nothing.
Soon after, the all-clear was given.
Authorities say they are still looking into the matter and are not releasing any more details at this time.
The sheriff’s office is asking for anyone with information on the bomb threat to get in touch.
