Fargo Public School winter meal program to begin next week

Fargo, North Dakota – The following week will mark the beginning of a program in Fargo that will feed hungry schoolchildren as well as families.
In order to provide children at Fargo Public Schools with meals that can be taken home, the district will be forming partnerships with two groups, namely PowerPlate Meals and the Forward Foundation.
Beginning on Tuesday, January 24th, and continuing until May, meal bags containing five frozen PowerPlate Meals will be delivered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The distribution will continue until May.
Depending on the day, the meals will be distributed between the hours of 4 and 5 p.m. at one of three places…Tuesdays: Madison Elementary School.
• Wednesdays: Jefferson Elementary School
• Thursdays: Ed Clapp Elementary School
