Fargo, North Dakota – The Dr. James Carlson Library’s garden plots will be planted, maintained, and harvested in collaboration with the Fargo Public Library and the neighborhood community garden organization Growing Together.
In the Dr. James Carlson Library’s community room on Thursday, April 13th, at 3 p.m., there will be a volunteer interest meeting for the library garden.
Jack Wood, a member of Growing Together’s leadership team, will talk about volunteer opportunities and the many advantages of community gardening.
Depending on the spring weather, weekly volunteer sessions for the library gardens will start on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon in late April or early May.
