Fargo city commissioner calls new City Administrator Michael Redlinger “excellent” hire

Fargo, North Dakota – Dave Piepkorn, a commissioner for the city of Fargo, has reacted to the recent news that Michael Redlinger will be the new city administrator.
“Well I’m just very pleased and so it was a very thorough process. Our human resources department does a great job. We did a national search. I was on the search committee. I think there were about 15 of us there. So I think the original group, it was over 60 applications,” said Piepkorn.
Redlinger’s last interview, according to Piepkorn, was “amazing,” and Redlinger is an “outstanding” appointment.
The city commission voted unanimously to approve the employment.
In the past, Redlinger oversaw the city of Moorhead. Piepkorn claims that a video of Redlinger’s last interview for employment is available on the City of Fargo website.
