Ellendale man went missing, police seek public’s help

Fargo, North Dakota – The Ellendale Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing man.
Everett Rains, 62, was last seen leaving his Ellendale, North Dakota home at 9:00 a.m. on August 22, 2021.
He was driving a white 2002 Ford F-250 with North Dakota license plates 359CBW, according to authorities. The vehicle has a ratchet strap on the right side holding the tailgate shut.
Rains was missing his smartphone and medicines when he left. Police in Ellendale are concerned about his safety because he may get disoriented without his medication.
Authorities believe he might have travelled to South Dakota.
