DEACON BOYS CRUISE PAST HI-LINERS

FARGO, N.D.  – Jack Pollert lead a balanced offense as five Shanley Deacons socred in double figures in a 77-49 win over Valley City Tuesday night at the Deacon Gym.

Pollert had 15 points to lead the Deacons. Connor Kraft had 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots. Tyler Kraft had 13 points, Braden DeKeyser had 12 points and Emmet Kenneyhad 10 points.

Peyton Zaun had 14 points to lead Valley City. Derrick Diegel had eight points and a team high five rebounds. Jared Eggermont and Andrew Berntson both had seven points and four rebounds.

Shanley improves to 8-7 in the Eastern Dakota Conference and 8-8 overall. Valley City falls to 5-11 in the EDC and 4-13 overall.
