City of Fargo want public opinion on two ordinances

Fargo, North Dakota – The city of Fargo is asking for public input in order to improve the quality of life for those who live, work, and visit downtown Fargo.
The city is interested in hearing residents’ opinions about permits for loud sounds, sidewalk entertainment, and right-of-way. If you visit this link, you will be able to get additional information about the proposed amendments to the ordinance.
18-0310: Suspend the need for sidewalk entertainment permits.
11-0209: Limit the use of amplifying sound and the issuance of permits on the rights-of-way.
Comments from the general public must be sent in writing to the office of the City Auditor of Fargo, which is located at 225 4th Street North, no later than midnight on August 3, 2022. You may also submit comments online by clicking here.
