Bismarck man faces charges of endangerment by fire

Bismarck, North Dakota – An arrest has been made in connection with a fire at a Bismarck apartment complex, according to police.

Around 5 a.m. on Thursday, firefighters were called to the three-story apartment building to put out a fire. The 33-year-old man who was subsequently arrested was found on his balcony as tenants were being evacuated.

The preliminary investigation of the fire showed that the man was boiling cooking oil.
