Annual coat drive starts today in Fargo-Moorhead area

Fargo, North Dakota – The annual coat drive will start today in the Fargo – Moorhead area at 8 locations of Hornbacher.
Anyone interested can donate winter clothes for the families, individuals and children in need at the Hornbacher’s locations. The event is hosted by the Salvation Army of Fargo.
“We have been blessed to have Hornbacher’s as one of our community supporters for over a decade now, and we are so grateful for their cooperation in collecting coats for those in need in our community. We are continually surprised by how much the community rallies around this event each year, and by the quality of items that are donated. Last year, like every year that I’ve been working for The Salvation Army, we served hundreds of families in need of coats and winter apparel,” Kristi Simmons said, Public Relations & Volunteer Coordinator.
Clothes can be donated at the locations all through September 20th. Children’s jackets and snow pants in sizes 6-16, as well as youth sizes boots and gloves, are in high demand.
