An area businessman plans to run for Fargo City Commission

Fargo, North Dakota – Recently, a local barbershop owner said that he will be running for Fargo City Commission.

Delson Saintal is a candidate seeking a position on the Fargo City Commission. Originally from Haiti, Saintal grew up in Fargo, where he attended North High School and later Concordia College in Moorhead, where he is currently an assistant wrestling coach, to earn a psychology degree.

As of right now, Saintal owns Dakota Barber Academy and Xperience Barbers and Salon. He is also the board president of the nonprofit Legacy Children’s Foundation, which is headquartered in Fargo.

A statement on Saintal’s campaign’s Facebook page states that he plans to prioritize accessibility, public safety, and workforce development.

On Tuesday, June 11th, there will be elections for citywide office in Fargo, and Saintal will be represented on the ballot.
