After a Bismarck woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and nearly killed, a guy is being held on a $1 million bond

Bismarck, North Dakota – A guy is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with the vicious home invasion attack and attempted murder of a Bismarck lady.

Edward Harper Jr., according to the police, followed the woman home last Thursday and went in through an unlocked door.

According to the authorities, Harper Jr. was battered, sexually abused, and attempted to kill the woman in her residence.

When he fell asleep, she had time to phone the police. Harper faces accusations of terrorizing, burglary, attempted murder, and gross sexual imposition by force.

Harper Jr. may be sentenced to life in prison if found guilty.
