40% of North Dakota renters facing evictions

Fargo, North Dakota – A federal eviction moratorium is set to expire soon, which is causing concern among North Dakota residents.
7% of North Dakota homeowners are late on their mortgage payments and 8% are facing foreclosure, according to a survey by insurance quote comparison website, QuoteWizard.
North Dakota is ranked on 3rd place with the most people facing evictions among the states, as the survey indicates that 40% of North Dakota renters are facing evictions.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Household Pulse Surveys was used to compile information on foreclosures, rent, and mortgage payments. Analysts at QuoteWizard then divided the data by state and demography to calculate the number of people facing foreclosure or eviction.
