Warrant out for man accused of the death of his mother

Minneapolis, Minnesota – Police is looking for a Minneapolis man suspected of injecting a fatal dose of the powerful opioid Fentanyl to his sick mother.

The 62-year-old Scott Henkel is charged with a weapons possession violation in connection with the death of his mother, the 82-year-old Carol Henkel, in November 2020, four felony drug counts and third-degree murder.

Police seized a handgun, large quantity of marijuana and other illegal drugs at the apartment he shared with his mother.

A nationwide warrant has been issued for Scott Henkel’s arrest, according to authorities.
