Walmart in South Bismarck is evacuated due to a bomb threat

Bismarck, North Dakota — Around 7:50 this morning, the South Bismarck Walmart received a bomb threat, to which Bismarck Police responded.
The Bismarck Police Department reports that management at the South Walmart evacuated the building while getting help from the Bismarck Police Bomb Squad and Bismarck Police Department to clear the building of any potential threats.
No bombs were found in the shop, and after a police investigation, it was determined that the caller was attempting to defraud Walmart by using a probable phony phone number.
There were no reported injuries, and Bismarck Police are still looking into the matter.
