Two people taken to a hospital after a fiery crash on I-94

Fargo, North Dakota – Two men sustained serious injuries following a fiery accident on I-94 near University Drive.
At four o’clock in the afternoon, a semi was traveling eastbound on the highway near Moorhead as traffic was moving more slowly than usual due to construction. A pickup caught fire after rear-ending a semi.
Both the driver, who was from Detroit Lakes and was 71 years old, and his passenger, who was also from Detroit Lakes and was 53 years old, were transported to the hospital. According to the account of a witness, the men were rescued from the burning vehicle.
The identities of the men will be made public as soon as their families have been informed.
